
At Alternative Investments we like to “put our cards on the table”. Why should we waste your time or our time? The following are
some questions we receive often, so we just decided to post them on the website for all to see.
1. Why shouldn’t I just keep listing the home through a Realtor? Realtor’s are a great source to sell a home.
Some homes do not sell for one reason or another. Did you know that most homes take less than $2,000 - $3,000 to
prepare to sell on top of making the monthly payments? The difference is we are willing to put that money into the home
where a Realtor can’t. We will maintain the property (mowing, cleaning, up keep, etc.) and improve the property
(painting, carpet, minor remodeling) to make it sale ready. With over 12 years combined experience in real estate and
the home improvement business, we know what it takes to sell a home.
2. Why should I Lease/Option through you? I hear Lease/Optioning, Lease/Purchasing, or Rent-to-Own is a scam
where they tie up your home and no one really ever buys. It is unfortunate that there are businesses out there that just
want you for a quick buck and then drag you down with them. At Alternative Investments our success depends on your
success. We started our business here and raise our families here. You see, we must find a buyer for our homes or we
do not see a profit. It is that simple. So we wouldn’t be around long if all we did was tie up homes and never close them
out.
3. What type of guarantee can you make that you’ll sell our house? We can guarantee that we will use all the
training we have had the past 12 years to help close your home. If you give us 90 days to repair, market, and find a
client for your home we will get the job done. What is there to lose over having a Realtor list it and it just sits for 90 -120
days with you in charge of all the remodeling, mowing, painting, and cleaning?
4. Do you put any money down? If you need money for moving expenses, debt, or want some security, we can
provide a down payment. When you agree to the option period we are putting down our labor, our money for materials,
our money for marketing and selling the home. This often runs $2,000 - $5,000, so I would say we are putting money
down wouldn’t you?
5. What type of client’s do you sell to? We sell to people who have had credit challenges in the past and just
need a boost to own a home. We have all been there before. An old medical bill, a previous divorce, a bad loan to a
friend, all these items can hold you up from owning a home even if you have a down payment and a good job. What we
do is use our 12 years of training on credit repair to help these clients clean up their past and become homeowners as
fast as possible.
6. How long does this process take? Our program can last as little as 60 days from when we close to as long as a
year. It really depends on their whole credit picture. Our goal is to get them financed as soon as possible so you and we
can get paid off as fast as possible. The bottom line is, we don’t hold onto your house, we move it!
7. How will we know what is going on with our home, we have a lot of time and money in it? We completely
understand the trust you are showing us by lease/optioning us the home. At Alternative Investments we will call you, fax
you, mail you, or email you continuous updates on the property and status of the client. It is extremely important we all
communicate throughout the entire process. Besides we generally like to know how things are going for you at your new
place. We really are in this business to see people improve their lives, yours and our clients.
